Young Life Summer Camp 2021

We recognize this last year has been hard for students. They’re thirsty for friendships, adventure and real-life.

With the well-being of everyone at the foremost of our minds, we’re excited to announce that Young Life camp is open this summer!

Camp offers what students have been craving

Outdoor adventure
Fun and laughter
Real-life with caring adults

Keeping Guests Safe

We have new protocols to ensure every student has the best week of their life.

Guests and staff will be screened as they enter camp and throughout their stay. They’ll wear masks when physical distancing isn’t possible, and we’re operating at reduced capacity to allow for more distancing.

We’re hosting meals and events outdoors when possible and placing handwashing stations throughout camp. Our teams will clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces multiple times a day.

Licensed medical staff are present at every camp week, and we’re partnering with local health offices. Should a guest display symptoms, we have isolation spaces and will inform parents/guardians of any camper in close contact with a COVID-19 positive person.

What measures are Young Life camps taking to ensure my camper’s wellbeing?

New measures include reduced camp capacities, health screenings and face covering requirements.

Will staff and volunteers be screened for COVID symptoms?

Yes, each of our guests will be screened before arrival at camp, and staff and volunteers will be screened regularly while camp is in session.

What happens if my camper comes in contact with a positive COVID19 case while at camp?

Parents/Guardians will be notified of any camper that has been in close contact with a positive COVID-19 case, and isolation spaces will be available for guests who become symptomatic while at camp.

What cleaning/sanitization practices will be used at camp properties?

Enhanced cleaning and sanitization will occur multiple times a day, while handwashing stations will be added throughout each camp, and scheduled handwashing times will occur before meals.

How will camps practice social distancing during sessions?

More meals, events and meetings will be hosted outdoors, and indoor gatherings will have increased ventilation and spacing.

Do camps have a medical professional onsite?

In addition to partnering with local health officials to ensure safety at camp, licensed medical staff will be present at camp each week throughout the summer.
